Detroit, City on the Move (1965?) is the promotional film that supported the city’s bid for the 1968 Olympic Games, eventually organized by Mexico City. Kennedy (!), the video presents Detroit’s new renaissance: Cosmopolitan, modern, cultural, multi-ethnic, multi- racial, friendly (sic)… Detroit to its finest hour… Just before its abysmal decline.
